About Aldo

I was born in Hollywood, California and adopted as a baby into a family from Salt Lake City, Utah. As far back as I can remember I've been an artist and wanted to go to Art School in New York City. When I was in high school my biological mother found me. She lived in New York City and owned an ad agency. She brought me to NYC where I attended the School Visual Arts. I lived in NYC for 6 years and then moved to Hollywood, California where I worked on movies as a scenic artist. I've done numerous movies, music videos, and commercials and was heavily involved in the art world. I've had many Gallery shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Europe. I've been on the cover of Art in America and in 2016, I was voted most inspirational artist by the Huffington Post. I've lived in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago and traveled extensively throughout Europe and am now living back in Salt Lake City. My biggest influence as an artist is Picasso and children's art. There is nothing purer than an unjaded child and the naive works that come from their minds. My favorite quote by Picasso is, "it took me a lifetime to learn how to paint like a child."
